- Place 1-2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per cup (250ml) in an infuser for teapot and pour over boiling water (100°C).
- Infuse for 5+ minutes depending on your desired strength.
- We recommend complementing with milk and/or honey to taste.

After finishing your brew, we encourage you to return your steeped herbs back to the earth, for example in your home compost, worm farm or garden waste, allowing it to breakdown into organic matter and return to nourish our environment.

Rooibos leaf – some studies indicate that rooibos has up to 50 times more antioxidants than green tea, which has a positive effect on the skin and hair.
Wattle seeds – are native to Australia and naturally contain a fairly high concentration of potassium, calcium, iron and zinc. With a low glycaemic index, they are good for diabetics, providing a steady stream of sugars that do not produce sudden rises in blood glucose levels.

No, it is naturally caffeine free. Instead of having a black tea base, this blend has a Rooibos base, which does not contain caffeine. If you are looking for a chai with caffeine, we offer a traditional Masala Chai.
Rooibos Tea (pronounced “roybos”) sometimes also called “red tea”, is brewed from the dried leaves of the rooibos plant. This plant is a low-growing shrub native to South Africa which is quite unlike traditional tea trees. The tea is made with oxidised leaves, which cause the reddish-brown colour of the brew and create a velvety and naturally sweet infusion.
Rooibos has a full-bodied flavour, which is remarkably smooth and sometimes described as slightly nutty or earthy. The natural sweetness of the leaves is complemented by the spices in this blend.
Tasmanian Pepperberry is the fruit of an Australian shrub native to the cool forests of Tasmania. It has a lingering fruity & spicy flavour, most commonly described as a cross between a plum, ginger and Sichuan pepper. Used for centuries by our First Peoples, it is known for its therapeutic properties and as a potent superfood. Due to its high antioxidant, amino acid and polyphenol profile, it was used to treat skin disorders, venereal disease, colic and stomach ache.
