Are rose petals healthy to consume?
Roses have a long-established history in herbal medicine, particularly in preparations to promote beauty and preserve youth. They are often used for their relaxing properties and as an aid to sleep. Their high antioxidant content which helps promote cellular health and anti-inflammatory qualities are also highly valued.
Studies show that rose petals can have a relaxing effect and help to lower stress levels and encourage sleep. They are known to ease and soothe menstrual cramps, and help reduce inflammation.
