Choosing bath accessories that last
Most bath accessories are plastic, and most of them are thrown out within a year. Ours are not. The pieces here are the sort of objects that stay in a bathroom for decades and look better for the wear, which is the whole argument for buying them once rather than often.
None of it is required to take a bath. What these tools do is make bathing a deliberate thing rather than a rushed one, and they make an organic mineral bath soak easier to use properly.
FAQ and further info about our bath accessories
A bath accessory is anything that sits between you and the water: vessels, sponges, brushes and measures. It is the bathing equivalent of teaware. Not the product you are soaking in, but the things that make using it easier and the ritual worth repeating.
No. A soak works perfectly well tipped into a running bath by hand. Accessories earn their place when bathing becomes a habit rather than an occasional thing, because at that point the small frustrations start to matter: guessing the quantity, damp fingers in the jar, a synthetic scrubber that never quite dries. Each of ours solves one of those.
Natural materials only, and no plastic anywhere in the range. Wild-harvested sponge, hand-raised copper, solid brass and untreated timber. These are materials that age rather than degrade, which is why they can be repaired, polished or simply left to develop a patina instead of being replaced. More of the metalware sits in our copper and brass ware collection.
Bathroom accessories are fittings for the room, things like holders, rails and storage. Bath accessories are used in the water, on the body, during the bath itself. Our range is the second kind: made to get wet, and made to last despite it.
