Copper is a naturally ideal material for heating liquids in our everyday lives, and has been used in our homes since ancient times. This copper chai pot and milk warmer is designed for stovetop use and will readily heat and keep warm plant or animal milks and other liquids. Now also available as a combination with our Cacao Collection Gift Set.
Our milk warmers are large enough to heat several cups but not so big that they overwhelm an individual indulgence. They are easy and efficient to use and an authentic means of preparing our Chai and Cacao ranges according to tradition.
With their polished beaten copper exterior and elevated brass handle, they are a beautiful and functional addition to the stovetop or over a campfire or firepit.
Please be aware that as each pot is handmade, variations in appearance will occur. See Longevity + Durability details below for more information.
ORIGINS + MATERIAL:
Hand-crafted in India from 100% copper with a pure brass handle. As these items are handcrafted, they may have slight flaws or variations.
USE + CARE:
Copper’s natural conductivity and antibacterial properties make it an ideal material for food preparation. Our copper chai pot and milk warmer is safe for use on gas and electric stovetops, but is not compatible with induction stoves. We recommend washing and drying the pot by hand after use to properly maintain the integrity of the metal. Occasional scrubbing with warm water and coarse salt or lemon will help to keep the bowl shining.
LONGEVITY + DURABILITY:
With proper care this product will offer long-term use. As a handmade object, each copper milk warmer will contain individual variations of crafting and these characteristics may intensify over time. Pots may show evidence of the making process such as surface irregularities or marking at joins.
With use, copper will naturally deepen in colour and develop a patina, enriching the appearance of the milk warmer but not affecting efficiency or taste.
DIMENSIONS + WEIGHT:
Height 15cm x width 10cm x length 16cm; avg. weight 300g; capacity 600ml
SUSTAINABILITY:
Please help us to protect the planet by cleaning and taking care of your copperware using environmentally sustainable products.

This copper pot is very cute and I love using it to make chai on the stove. Heats up the milk fast and evenly and it’s nice to pour from. Using this makes having a chai at home feel special.
