Digestive System: People have used rose petals and rosehip for centuries as a natural way to treat digestive disorders. Additionally, hibiscus also helps the digestive system as well as with treating inflammatory issues.

Excretory System: Cranberries continue to be praised for their antibacterial properties. This is mainly because they help treat and prevent urinary tract infections and kidney stones.

How to brew Antioxidant Tea

• Place 1-2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per cup (250ml) into an infuser or teapot and pour over boiling water (100°C)
• Infuse for 5-7+ minutes depending on your desired strength
• Pour into your favourite cup and experience the moment
• We recommend complementing with a slice of lemon taste
• Enjoy 1-4 cups daily in between meals to restore and protect.

How to brew Antioxidant Iced Tea

Antioxidant Tea with its brilliant crimson colour makes a delightful iced tea or cocktail infusion:

• Place 4-8 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 1 L, into a jug or teapot and fill with boiling water (100°C)
• Infuse for 5-30 minutes, or overnight, depending on your desired strength
• We recommend serving in a tall glass over ice and experience the moment

• Can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 3 days.

After finishing your brew, we encourage you to return your steeped herbs back to the earth, for example in your home compost, worm farm or garden waste, allowing it to breakdown into organic matter and return to nourish our environment.

Storage

To preserve the vitality, flavour and therapeutic actions of our teas, we recommend storing in our signature MIRON ultraviolet glass jars – or in an airtight container, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

What are antioxidants?

Antioxidants help protect the body from damage caused by molecules called free radicals. When free radicals accumulate in the body they can cause oxidative stress, which affects various systems and organs in the body. Antioxidants neutralise these free radicals, and thus mitigate against oxidative stress.

Are antioxidants commonly found in tea?

The amount of antioxidants found in green and black tea is very high, this being the same for many herbal teas. Our Antioxidant Tea incorporates a variety of herbs and berries. Berries are filled with nutrients and vitamins that have been chosen specifically to help protect the body.
