- Place 1-2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per cup (250ml) in an infuser or teapot and pour over boiling water (100°C).
- Infuse for 5-7+ minutes depending on your desired strength.
- Optional: We recommend complementing with a slice of lemon.
- Enjoy 1-4 cups daily in between meals to restore and protect.
How to brew Antioxidant Iced Tea
Antioxidant Tea with its brilliant crimson colour makes a delightful iced tea or cocktail infusion:
- Place 4-8 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 1 litre, into a jug or teapot and fill with boiling water (100°C)
- Infuse for 5-30 minutes, or overnight, depending on your desired strength
- We recommend serving in a tall glass over ice and experience the moment

After finishing your brew, we encourage you to return your steeped herbs back to the earth, for example in your home compost, worm farm or garden waste, allowing it to breakdown into organic matter and return to nourish our environment.

Despite its name, honeybush does not contain honey and is not sweetened. The name comes from the naturally sweet, honey-like aroma and flavour of the plant. In this blend, that gentle sweetness balances the tart berries and hibiscus, creating a rounded and fruity cup.
OM's Antioxidant blend has a naturally fruity, sweet and tangy flavour, with a warm honey-like character from the honeybush. Hibiscus and berries add a bright, slightly tart edge, while rose gives the tea a soft floral note. The result is a vibrant crimson infusion that is refreshing without tasting overly sweet.
The brilliant crimson colour comes primarily from hibiscus and the naturally colourful berries in the blend. As the tea steeps, these ingredients release their deep red and ruby tones into the water, creating the striking colour this blend is known for.

Traditional honeybush undergoes a high-temperature oxidation process often called fermentation. This brings out the naturally sweet, floral and fruity character of the honeybush and changes the leaves from green to a warm brown colour. When brewed, it produces a richer, deeper infusion than unfermented green honeybush.
