Goji berries are native to the northwest region of China and have been used in traditional Chinese medicine and ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years. Goji berries are highly valued for their antioxidants, which prevent free radical damage of DNA, lipids and proteins. They are also rich in vitamins and minerals and studies have shown promising results in them inhibiting tumour growth. Goji Berries have traditionally also been used as blood purifiers, for reducing high blood pressure and boosting memory. They have been used in treating respiratory disorders such as asthma, coughs and tuberculosis [1].

Goji Berries are used in our Antioxidant Tea.
