A sacred union of seven herbs selected for their specific affinity to the body’s seven Chakras – Crown, Third Eye, Throat, Heart, Solar Plexus, Sacral and Root Chakra.

Crown Chakra – Tulsi, also known as Sacred Holy Basil is traditionally used to promote health throughout the entire body. It has a history within Indian medicine as a treatment for many conditions and is considered a tonic for the body, mind, and spirit.

This herb invites awakening, awareness and balance to the chakra centres, forming deep spiritual connections and the union of the heart and mind to bestow love and devotion. Studies have linked it to stress relief and improved sleep patterns amongst many other health benefits.

The Sacred Holy Basil is known to affect cortisol levels (stress hormone), managing and reducing its levels in the body. Hence it also comes in handy when treating chronic stress side effects, such as a weakened immune system or an unbalanced metabolic activity.

Base Chakra – Ashwagandha invites security and stability. This ancient vedic plant imparts strength, vigour and rejuvenation. It is effective in controlling bacterial infections. This Indian Ginseng is rich in anti-inflammatory properties and traditionally used as an effective method to combat gastrointestinal and respiratory tract infections. Moreover, it is rich in antioxidants which is a natural way of scavenging toxins in the metabolic process.

Third Eye Chakra – Lavender invites insight, intuition, harmony and a peaceful mind. It can help reduce anxiety and emotional stress, as well as with the restoration of a healthy glowing skin complexion. In addition, due to its antioxidant content, it promotes slower ageing of the skin.

Throat Chakra – The peppermint in our throat chakra tea invites clear pathways and the removal of barriers, increasing communication, truth, awareness and acceptance of wisdom. It is traditionally used as an effective alternative to relax the intestinal muscles, calm the stomach discomfort and relieve blocked gas, thereby encouraging a healthy colon and a nourishing body.

Solar Plexus Chakra – Chamomile invites a relaxed, centred and soothed soul and is a natural way to ease bowel movements. Additionally, it may help battle skin inflammation scars and assist with the maintenance of the skin’s healthy glow.

Sacral Chakra – Ginger is an anti-inflammatory that can help relieve a sore throat quickly, making it perfect for a sacral chakra tea. It is also known to help kill rhinoviruses which cause cold.. Ginger can additionally help to sweat out unwanted toxins from the body.

Heart Chakra – This tea for the heart chakra uses rose petals, which invite love, forgiveness, compassion, faith and clarity.

How to brew Chakra Tea

• Place 1-2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per cup (250ml) in an infuser or teapot and pour over boiling water (100°C)
• Infuse for 5+ minutes depending on your desired strength
• Pour into your favourite cup and experience the moment
• Enjoy 1-4 cups daily in between meals to harmonise and restore energy.

After finishing your brew, we encourage you to return your steeped herbs back to the earth, for example in your home compost, worm farm or garden waste, allowing it to breakdown into organic matter and return to nourish our environment.

Serves

Our Charka Tea Box and Jar contain 40g and serves up to 50 cups. The compostable Refill Pouch contains 80g and serves up to 100 cups.

Storage

To preserve the vitality, flavour and therapeutic actions of our teas, we recommend storing in our signature MIRON ultraviolet glass jars – or in an airtight container, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Storing in this manner will extend the blends aroma, vibrancy and benefits for up to 24 months.
