Rooibos (Aspalathus linearis)

This tea has been consumed for centuries in South Africa. Also named ‘red bush’, it is naturally caffeine free and low in tannins.

Rich in antioxidants, it protects cells against oxidative stress and is naturally sweet with floral, caramel, woody and honey overtones.

It has an array of health benefits, known to help alleviate asthma, allergies, insomnia, skin disorders and colic. Recent studies also suggest it may prevent cardiovascular disease and lower blood pressure.

Drinking rooibos tea has been found to benefit the lipid profiles of those at risk of cardiovascular disease.
