Price range: $79.95 through $134.90

400ml T42 Glass Teapot from Germany with glass infuser. Brews 2 cups. Also available with Warmer Setup.

Organic Merchant’s T42 Glass Teapot with Glass Infuser is beautifully crafted by Trendglas Jena in Germany.

  • Dishwasher and Microwave safe.
  • Can be used directly on the stovetop (see below for details).
  • Made of heat-resistant, clear borosilicate glass.
  • Award-winning, sophisticated design produced in Germany by Trendglas Jena.

Volume: It holds 400ml of liquid or the perfect amount for 2 cups of tea, hence the name (Tea-For-Two). If you are looking for a larger option, you might be interested in our 1.2L Nova Glass Teapot with Infuser.

Material: The teapot is made from non-toxic, BPA-free, borosilicate glass, which is heat-resistant.

Hence it is suitable for use directly on a kitchen stove. However, please be mindful that water needs to be inside. Additionally we recommend to use a cooker top that is slightly smaller than the base circumference of the T42, so the handle does not get too hot to touch. Alternatively you can place the teapot on the edge. Handle with care at all times.

We also have a specific 1.75L glass stove top kettle available.

Dimensions: (H/W/D): 125mm x 143mm x 104mm

CREATE THE PERFECT TEAPOT SET

To create the perfect teapot set for at home, we recommend pairing it with our 12cm Teapot Warmer. The durable stainless steel candle warmer ensures that your tea stays warm for hours and you do not need to worry about re-heating a forgotten cup.

The T42 consists of glass teapot, glass infuser and glass lid. The warmer is made of stainless steel and can be purchased additionally. Please select the preferred option when adding the product to your cart.

HOW TO USE YOUR T42 GLASS TEA POT WITH INFUSER

  • Boil the water first, either using the teapot directly on the stove or in a separate kettle. Make sure the water is not filled too high – it will rise once the strainer is inserted.
  • Scoop your desired amount of loose leaf tea into the glass strainer.
  • Gently lower the strainer into the water and then place the lid on top.
  • Steep for the directed time shown on the label or as desired.

For advice on making the perfect cup, see our guide to brewing all types of loose-leaf tea.

HOW TO CLEAN THE T42 TEA POT

To clean the pot and get it ready for the next use, gently hand wash or place into your dishwasher.

In case you break the lid, no worries, we have replacement glass lids available.

  5. Tracey –

The T42 Teapot and Warmer are the perfect addition to my holistic therapy room! The herbal teas look divine in the exquisite glass vessel. Beautiful!

  6. Lisa –

Teapot is a bit hard to use on the stove as it boils over easily and there is no line to mark its maximum capacity. The lid is also hard to take off and slides easily and heats up. The handle similarly heats up and is hard to handle.
