- Place 2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per cup (250ml) in an infuser or teapot and pour over boiling water (100°C).
- Infuse for 5-7+ minutes depending on your desired strength
Turkish Delight Tea with its pretty pink colour makes a delightful iced tea or cocktail infusion:
- Place 8-10 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 1 L, into a jug or teapot and fill with boiling water (100°C).
- Infuse for 5-30 minutes, or overnight, depending on your desired strength.
- We recommend serving in a tall glass over ice and experience the moment.

After finishing your brew, we encourage you to return your steeped herbs back to the earth, for example in your home compost, worm farm or garden waste, allowing it to breakdown into organic matter and return to nourish our environment.

Health benefits of herbs in Turkish Delight Tea
Naturally rich in antioxidants and pectin, our organic apple tea has the added benefits of improving circulation, balancing blood sugars, boosting immunity and preventing constipation.
Improving circulation: Studies suggest that nitric oxide is formed in the blood by an enzyme, activated by the polyphenols that are found in apple tea. In turn, the blood vessels are widened and circulation is improved.
Balancing blood sugars: Cinnamon has been linked to improved blood sugar levels by several small studies. By lowering insulin resistance, cinnamon may curb blood sugar levels.
Boosting immunity: Our turkish apple tea blend, being rich in vitamin B6, seems to aid human epithelial cells and thus promotes immunity. Cinnamon can additionally provide instant relief from a sore throat.
Preventing constipation: On consuming the organic Turkish Delight Tea early in the morning, the soluble dietary fibre from the apples may improve bowel movements.

Apple tea can have a naturally sweet and fruity character without added sugar. OM’s Turkish Delight Tea contains no added sugar or sweeteners.
To bring out a fuller, fruitier and naturally sweeter flavour, try using a little more loose leaf tea or infusing it for longer. The standard brewing guide recommends 2 teaspoons per 250ml and 5–7+ minutes depending on your desired strength. But you can try 3 teaspoons and 10-15 minutes to make it taste sweeter. You can also complement the tea with a little honey if you prefer.
No. Turkish Delight Tea contains no added sugar or sweeteners, just like all Organic Merchant blends. Its naturally fruity character comes from the organic apple pieces and the other botanicals in the blend.

This is a good cup of tea. The apple is subtle, but the scieps are pleasing to the palate. This was enhanced by adding a little honey ~ it is good without, but great with just a little sweet! The aroma adds to the overall positive experience on this cold cold below zero day!
