Grey Martini makes a delightful iced tea or cocktail infusion:
- Place 4-8 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 1 L, into a jug or teapot and fill with boiling water (100°C).
- Infuse for around 5 minutes, then strain.
- We recommend serving in a tall glass over ice.
- Complement with a medley of citrus fruits or your favourite cocktail mixer.
- Can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 3 days.
This is one option. You can also use a cold-brewing method. Explore all methods in our article How to make iced tea.
How to make a Grey Martini Iced Tea Cocktail Infusion
Once made into a cold tea, Grey Martini can be added into your favourite cocktail for a fruity twist. Our personal favourite is:
- 100ml Grey Martini Iced Tea
- 30ml Lemon Vodka
- 60ml Champagne
- Serve over ice and garnish with a sprig of lavender and twist of lemon.

With the bergamot zest of Earl Grey and the rich, classic floral tones of rose and lavender, this iced tea is delicious on its own. It matches intuitively with citrus and flowers, and also with the cooler flavours of cucumber and melon. Additionally it pairs as a great drink with our no-bake, gluten free cheesecake recipe.
Once brewed and chilled, Grey Martini Iced Tea makes an aromatic base for cocktails. Combine it with your favourite spirit, sparkling wine or liqueur and serve over ice. Explore our iced tea cocktail recipes, especially the French Lady for inspiration.
Absolutely. It makes a refreshing iced tea on its own, served over ice with citrus or your preferred garnish. You can also combine it with sparkling water for a lighter, alcohol-free drink.
The bergamot, citrus and floral notes work particularly well with gin and vodka, while Champagne or sparkling wine adds a lighter, celebratory finish. You can also experiment with pear cider for a fruitier combination.
Yes. Grey Martini Iced Tea contains no added sugar and can be used as a cocktail base without needing a sweetened mixer. Depending on the spirits and other ingredients, you can add a natural sweetener to taste.
Brew and chill your Grey Martini Iced Tea, then combine 140ml iced tea with 30ml organic lemon vodka, 60ml Champagne and 10ml stevia tea or another natural sweetener. Serve in a Martini glass with lavender. Find this recipe and more ideas in our iced tea cocktail recipes.
