What makes it special? And what is the difference between English Breakfast and other types of black tea?
English breakfast tea is a popular type of black tea that originated in the United Kingdom and has become popular in many other parts of the world. It is known for its robust, full-bodied flavour and is usually consumed in the morning with a hearty breakfast, although may be taken at other times of the day. It is typically a blend of different black teas, which may include Assam, Ceylon, and Kenyan teas. On the other hand, “normal” tea or regular black tea can refer to a variety of tea blends, including regional blends like Darjeeling, Earl Grey, or generic black tea blends.
However, what makes OM’s premium grade selection special, is that it is a single origin Orange Pekoe. It creates a balanced and flavorful blend that is suitable for enjoying with milk and sugar, as often done in the UK. Personally, we prefer it’s smooth taste straight up.
