Triphala is an Ayurvedic herbal mixture composed of three fruits (Indian gooseberry, Bibhitaki, Haritaki) that has traditionally been used as a multi-purpose treatment for centuries. Triphala is particularly high in antioxidants which aid in neutralising free radical activity and improve skin health and appearance. The herbal mixture has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulating and antidiarrheal abilities. That and the naturally high amount of polyphenols in triphala is what make it helpful for modulating the gut micro biome, promoting a healthy digestive tract. Triphala is recognised for its ability to gently cleanse the system while concurrently nourishing and restoring it, as well as its ability to manage dental health. [1,2,3,4,5]
Triphala is used in our Shine Dust.
