Cacao Nourish Bowl Recipe:

Ingredients for nourish bowl with cacao powder:

  • 1 cup buckwheat hulls
  • 2 cups plant milk
  • 4 heaped tsp DUST cacao infusion of your choice
  • 2 tbsp chia seed/flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup fruit – currants/raisins (optional)

How to make nourish bowl:

  1. Combine ingredients into a bowl and soak overnight to allow hulls/seeds to soften.
  2. Once soaked, transfer to saucepan and cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes or until thick and creamy. Add more milk or water if needed.
  3. Serve into bowls topped with your choice of suggestions from the list below.

Suggestions to add to this nourish bowl recipe:

  • Grated apple with cinnamon
  • Fresh figs with honey and walnuts

Cacao Pancakes Recipe

Ingredients for cacao powder pancakes:

  • 1 cup buckwheat flour
  • 4 heaped tsp DUST cacao infusion of your choice
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar (optional)
  • 1 to 1.5 cups plant milk

How to make pancakes with cacao powder:

  1. In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and stir well.
  2. Whisk in milk to create a batter.
  3. Set stove top to medium and add butter/coconut oil.
  4. Gently pour 1/3 cup of batter into pan using ladle/large spoon to create pancakes roughly the size of an orange.
  5. Flip pancakes over once bubbles have risen on the surface.
  6. Set / stack cooked pancakes on wire rack or plate and continue until batter is finished.

Cacao Chocolate Nut Muffins Recipe

Our raw cacao powder recipes for chocolate muffins with nuts uses dry and wet ingredients.

Dry ingredients for choc nut muffins:

  • 2 cups buckwheat flour
  • 1 cup ground seed/nutmeal
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 cup DUST cacao infusion of your choice
  • 1 tsp bi-carb

Wet ingredients for choc nut muffins:

  • 3/4 cup plant milk
  • 2 eggs or chia egg replacement*
  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts/frozen berries
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil/butter melted

*Chia egg replacement = 1 tbsp chia seeds + 3 tbsp of water. Combine and set aside for approx. 10 minutes.

How to make chocolate nut muffins:

Preheat oven to 180 ̊C.

  1. In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients and stir well.
  2. In a smaller bowl, combine all the wet ingredients and stir well.
  3. Add wet mixture to the dry ingredients and combine (It’s OK if the mixture is a little lumpy).
  4. Spoon mixture into muffin tray or baking cups.
  5. Cook for 20-25 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.
  6. Cool in tray for 5 minutes then transfer to wire rack.

Store in airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. 

Iced Cacao Chocolate Recipe

To make a healthy iced cacao, you do not need many ingredients. This is one of the simplest and quickest raw cacao powder recipes.

What do I need for making an iced chocolate drink?

  • 200ml milk of your choice
  • 2-3 heaped tsp of our DUST cacao infusion of your choice
  • 1 tsp of maple syrup or honey for sweetness (according to taste)
  • A couple ice cubes

How to make iced chocolate:

  1. Combine 50ml of milk with a tsp of DUST cacao infusion in a tall glass.
  2. In case you want to add some sweetness (honey or maple syrup) to your iced chocolate, do so now.
  3. Stir/whisk thoroughly to make paste.
  4. Add ice cubes into the glass.
  5. Pour remaining 150ml milk over the top of the ice cubes.
  6. Stir gently to combine.

Makes 1 big or 2 regular glasses of healthy iced chocolate. That’s all there is to making an iced chocolate with raw cacao powder. Enjoy!

Make coffee ice cubes by pouring black coffee into ice trays and freezing them overnight. You can add those to the raw cacao powder recipes for a delicious energy boost.

Healthy Cacao Chocolate Smoothie Recipe

This cacao smoothie recipe will leave you longing for more. Discover how to make this healthy cacao drink recipe below.

Ingredients for a healthy chocolate smoothie:

  • 200ml milk of your choice
  • 100ml coconut cream/milk
  • 2-4 heaped tsp of our DUST cacao infusion of your choice
  • 1 tsp of maple syrup / honey OR 3 pitted dates for sweetness (optional)
  • Some ice cubes

How to make chocolate smoothie:

  1. Place all ingredients into a blender (including ice cubes)
  2. Blend until smooth and well combined (approx. 1 minute)
  3. Pour your health cacao smoothie into tall glass over ice. Enjoy!

Makes 1 big or 2 regular glasses. For a thicker, more filling chocolate smoothie, add 1 (frozen) banana or other fruit of your choice and blend together with rest of the ingredients. You won’t regret it.

Ice Pops with Cacao Chocolate, Fruit and Yoghurt Recipe

One of the raw cacao powder recipes perfect for the summer months.

Ingredients needed for the cacao yoghurt ice pops recipe:

  • Use an equal amount of yoghurt and frozen fruit (Example: 500g frozen blueberries, 500g yoghurt)
  • 2-4 Tbsp DUST cacao infusion of your choice
  • 1 Tbsp of organic honey
  • Some fresh mint (optional, for an extra kick)

How to make ice pops:

  1. Add all ingredients into a mixer, following the order above and blend thoroughly to combine well.
    The frozen fruit will instantly form an ice cream like texture.
  2. Fill the mix into ice pop molds. In case it is too thick to fill in easily, either add a bit more yoghurt or gently use a scoop.
    TIP: You can place a few additional berries / fruit pieces into the molds first.
  3. Close the ice pop molds and place into freezer.
