This product has been manufactured, packaged and stored in a facility that is free from nuts, dairy, soy, sesame seeds, sulphites and eggs.
How to brew a hot cup:
- Place 1-2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per cup (250ml) into an infuser or teapot and pour over boiling water (100°C)
- Infuse for around 5 minutes depending on your desired strength.
- Pour into your favourite cup and experience the moment. We recommend complementing with milk and/or honey to taste.
- Enjoy 1-4 cups daily in between meals to purify and tone.
How to brew the iced tea version:
Rooibos Rose Tea with its rich red colour makes a delightful iced tea or cocktail infusion:
- Place 4-8 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 1 L, into a jug or teapot and fill with boiling water (100°C)
- Infuse for 5-30 minutes, or overnight, depending on your desired strength.
- We recommend serving in a tall glass over ice.

After finishing your brew, we encourage you to return your steeped herbs back to the earth, for example in your home compost, worm farm or garden waste, allowing it to breakdown into organic matter and return to nourish our environment.

Health benefits of herbs in Rooibos Tea with Rose
Rooibos: Native to South Africa, the red tea is a gentle whole body tonic. It is rich in antioxidants and minerals, and is traditionally used to protect against disease as well as strengthening the body. Some studies indicate that it has up to 50 times more antioxidants than green tea. The high amount of antioxidants is the reason for its popularity amongst Japanese women, who are drinking Rooibos Tea for its positive effect on the skin and hair. It has been known to clear skin of acne and prevent wrinkles. Furthermore, the plant is rich in Vitamin C, low in tannins and may ease digestive problems.

Rooibos tea (pronounced “Roybos”), sometimes also called “red tea”, is brewed from the dried leaves of the rooibos plant. Literally translated it means “red bush”. This plant is a low-growing shrub native to South Africa, which is quite unlike traditional tea trees. The oxidised leaves, causing the reddish-brown colour of the beverage, create a smooth and naturally sweet sensation in your cup.

Due to the blend being caffeine free and the plant containing magnesium, calcium as well as a naturally high amount of antioxidants, it is even recommended as a beverage of choice while pregnant. A cup can have positive effects on digestion and may ease reflux and colic. Please note: It’s important to be aware of the safety issues when using herbs in pregnancy. It’s important to be cautious and to use only those herbs with a good safety profile.
Completely. Rooibos is not related to the tea plant, so there is no caffeine to remove and none has ever been present. That makes it a good evening drink and a straightforward swap if you are cutting back.
