How to brew Moroccan Mint Green Tea

• Place 1-2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per cup (250ml) in an infuser or teapot and pour over boiling water (85°C)
• Infuse for 3+ minutes depending on your desired strength
• Pour into your favourite cup and experience the moment
• Complement with a slice of lemon or lime and honey to taste
• Enjoy daily, especially for morning or afternoon tea to refresh and revitalise.

After finishing your brew, we encourage you to return your steeped herbs back to the earth, for example in your home compost, worm farm or garden waste, allowing it to breakdown into organic matter and return to nourish our environment.

Storage

How is Moroccan mint tea different from mint tea?

Moroccan mint tea typically uses a specific type of mint called “nana mint” or “spearmint” rather than other varieties of mint. Nana mint is known for its strong, sweet aroma and refreshing flavour, which contributes to the unique taste. Additionally, Moroccan mint tea is traditionally made with green tea leaves (gunpowder tea) and sugar.

How is Moroccan Mint Tea prepared?

Can dogs drink mint tea?

No, it is not recommended to give dogs mint tea to drink. While mint leaves are generally safe for dogs in small amounts, the concentrated form of mint found in tea can potentially cause issues for dogs. The essential oils and compounds in mint tea, such as menthol, can be to strong for a dog’s digestive system and may lead to gastrointestinal upset, including diarrhea, vomiting, or stomach discomfort.
