- Place 1-2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per cup (250ml) in an infuser or teapot.
- Do not pour over boiling water (100°C), but rather let it cool down for a minute or two. The ideal temperature to use for this mint green tea blend is around 85°C.
- Infuse for around 3 minutes depending on your desired strength. Please note that over-steeping or too hot water temperature might turn this blend bitter tasting.
- Enjoy daily, especially for morning or afternoon tea to refresh and revitalise.

After finishing your brew, we encourage you to return your steeped herbs back to the earth, for example in your home compost, worm farm or garden waste, allowing it to breakdown into organic matter and return to nourish our environment.

It is closely associated with Moroccan hospitality and is commonly prepared and shared as part of daily life. Traditional Moroccan tea is usually made with Gunpowder green tea, while our blend uses organic Sencha Green Tea with peppermint and spearmint.
Moroccans have a strong cultural tradition of drinking mint tea. Mint tea holds significant cultural and social importance in Morocco, and it is deeply ingrained in their daily life and hospitality customs.
Moroccan mint tea combines green tea with mint, giving it both the refreshing character of mint and the grassy, slightly astringent flavour of green tea. Mint tea generally refers to an infusion made primarily from mint leaves without a green tea base.
Our blend is inspired by traditional Moroccan mint tea rather than being an exact recreation. Traditional Moroccan tea is commonly made with Gunpowder green tea, fresh nana mint or spearmint and sugar. Our version combines Sencha Green Tea with peppermint and spearmint for a lighter, fresher interpretation.
Traditionally, green tea is combined with fresh mint and sugar in a teapot, with the tea often rinsed before brewing. The pot may then be heated or infused before the tea is poured into small glasses and mixed between the pot and the glasses to create an even flavour.
Pouring Moroccan mint tea from a height helps aerate the tea and can create the characteristic light foam on the surface. It is also part of the traditional serving ritual and is associated with hospitality and welcoming guests.
Yes. Traditional Moroccan mint tea is typically prepared with a generous amount of sugar, although the amount varies from household to household. Our Moroccan Mint Green Tea contains no added sugar, so you can enjoy it unsweetened or sweeten it to your preference.

Green tea can become more bitter and astringent when exposed to water that is too hot or steeped for too long. For a smoother cup, use water around 85°C and steep for approximately 3 minutes, as recommended for our blend.
