Lemongrass

Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus)

Lemongrass is a tall, perennial grass native to India and tropical regions of Asia. While this citrusy and aromatic herb is a staple in Asian cooking, it has also been used medicinally for centuries to treat insomnia, stomach, respiratory disorders and infections.

Due to its high antioxidant profile, this tea can help fight against free radicals, helping to reduce inflammation in the body.

Other benefits include relieving stress, lowering cholesterol, preventing infection, boosting oral health, relieving pain, boosting red blood cell levels, and relieving bloating.

It is often consumed as tea.
