Lemon Verbena

Lemon Verbena (Verbena officinalis)

Lemon verbena is a highly aromatic shrub native to South America. The leaves and flowering tops are used to make medicine and as a food additive.

It is well known for its antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antiseptic and carminative properties. It also has a sedative effect on the central nervous system, and can be used to alleviate the symptoms of digestive and gastrointestinal issues.
