Enjoying Christmas beverages made with organic loose leaf herbal teas is not only delicious, but a great way to stay hydrated in the summer heat. These festive drinks also have healthy nutritional benefits, are naturally sugar-free, and can be customised to suit your taste.

Moroccan Mint Green Iced Tea Cold Brew
Makes: 1L
- 1L boiled water
- 1-2 heaped tbsp Organic Merchant Moroccan Mojito Loose Leaf Tea
- Add freshly boiled water to tea leaves.
- Let rest for around 5-30 mins, depending
on how full-bodied you prefer the flavour. - Allow to cool down naturally or enjoy
directly served over ice cubes for instant
iced tea. - Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Iced Tea & Cocktail Infusions
Makes: 1L
- 1L boiled water
- 1-2 heaped tbsp Organic Merchant tea of your choice
- Brew tea for 4-30 mins depending on the desired strength. If you like a stronger taste, let the tea infuse overnight, then strain.
- Serve over ice, chilled or as a mixer with sparkling water or alcohol of your choice.
- Will keep refrigerated for 3-4 days.
- Can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Note: Please drink responsibly.
Lemon, Lime & Bitters Iced Tea
Makes: 1L
- 1L boiled water
- 1-2 heaped tbsp Organic Merchant Lemon, Lime & Bitters Loose Leaf Tea
- Add freshly boiled water to Organic
Merchant Loose Leaf Tea. - Let rest for around 5-7 mins,
- Strain and keep the steeped herbs for your compost.
- Enjoy over ice once it has cooled.
Mulled Wine
Makes: 1.25L
- 2-3 tbsp Organic Merchant Mulled Spice Loose Leaf Tea
- 500mL water
- 750mL fruity organic red wine (such as Merlot)
- Heat tea with 500mL water in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Bring to the boil and reduce heat to low. Let simmer for 10 mins.
- Add wine and simmer gently for another 4-5 mins. Turn the heat down or remove completely.
- Strain and divide among glasses just when your
guests arrive. - Serve warm and garnish with a star anise.
