Health benefits of herbs in Turkish Delight Tea

Naturally rich in antioxidants and pectin, our organic apple tea has the added benefits of improving circulation, balancing blood sugars, boosting immunity and preventing constipation.

Improving circulation: Studies suggest that nitric oxide is formed in the blood by an enzyme, activated by the polyphenols that are found in apple tea. In turn, the blood vessels are widened and circulation is improved.

Balancing blood sugars: Cinnamon has been linked to improved blood sugar levels by several small studies. By lowering insulin resistance, cinnamon may curb blood sugar levels.

Boosting immunity: Our turkish apple tea blend, being rich in vitamin B6, seems to aid human epithelial cells and thus promotes immunity. Cinnamon can additionally provide instant relief from a sore throat.

Preventing constipation: On consuming the organic Turkish Delight Tea early in the morning, the soluble dietary fibre from the apples may improve bowel movements.

How to brew Turkish Delight Tea

• Place 1-2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per cup (250ml) into an infuser or teapot and pour over boiling water (100°C)
• Infuse for 5-7+ minutes depending on your desired strength
• Pour into your favourite cup and experience the moment
• We recommend complementing with a slice of lemon to taste
• Enjoy 1-4 cups daily in between meals to comfort and nourish.

How to brew Turkish Delight Tea Iced Tea

Turkish Delight Tea with its pretty pink colour makes a delightful iced tea or cocktail infusion:

• Place 4-8 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per 1 L, into a jug or teapot and fill with boiling water (100°C)
• Infuse for 5-30 minutes, or overnight, depending on your desired strength
• We recommend serving in a tall glass over ice and experience the moment

• Can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated for up to 3 days.

After finishing your brew, we encourage you to return your steeped herbs back to the earth, for example in your home compost, worm farm or garden waste, allowing it to breakdown into organic matter and return to nourish our environment.

Serves

Our Turkish Delight Tea Box and Jar contain 80g and serve up to 35 cups. The compostable Refill Pouch contains 160g and serves up to 70 cups.

Storage

To preserve the vitality, flavour and therapeutic actions of our teas, we recommend storing in our signature MIRON ultraviolet glass jars – or in an airtight container, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Storing in this manner will extend the blends aroma, vibrancy and benefits for up to 24 months.
